Interreg Europe: FutureECOS project

Objective of the project

FutureECOS’s overall aim is to future-proof living space in the new growth corridor regions, through integrated development strategies developed through cooperation of public and private actors and citizens.

As intermediate steps to reaching the overall aim, the project’s specific objectives are to:

1. promote interregional and regional learning, also building on experiences from the pandemic, on:
2. a) environmental, economic and social implications and requirements for future-proof living space;
3. b) socio-geographic position of growth corridor regions in the partnership;
4. c) multi-sector/ level policy construction/implementation models that engage citizens in a democratic process of designing future proof living spaces and support integrated territorial development initiatives;
5. use learning to make concrete changes for integrated regional policy for future-proof living space in growth corridor regions;
6. monitor implementation and impact of policy changes on regional development parameters.

The role of Resolvo

Resolvo Srl supported the Regional Council of Häme in the preparation phase and will provide support for project management (financial and technical) and methodological development.
