The project MICROFUTURE – “Future proof” microfinance for social inclusion – was funded in the framework of the first Interreg Europe 2021-2027 call for proposals. Lasting 4 years, from 1 March 2023, the project is led by the Regional Intermediate Body for European Programs Human Capital Bucharest Ilfov Region (Romania).

Objective of the project
MICROFUTURE aims to improve public policy frameworks supporting microfinance, ensuring that microfinance provision are future-proofed.
Thanks to interregional learning and cooperation the project intends to:
- adapt microfinance systems to the challenges facing current, post-COVID society;
- support vulnerable populations and microenterprises;
- focus on the role and capacity of the public authorities and microfinance providers;
- consolidate microfinance ecosystem in participating territories.
The role of Resolvo
Resolvo Srl supported the Lead partner in the preparation phase and will provide support to the project for financial and technical management.
