SET-UP 2nd Meeting in Leicester

During the first week of October, SET-UP organised a successful workshop and a productive project meeting in Leicester (UK). Thanks to Leicester City Council, a panel of experts bringing with them diverse experiences of the energy system was involved in a workshop focusing on economic models for Smart grids.  img_7734

Presentations covered a number of themes from different perspectives including public authorities from the Local Enterprise Partnership, universities, distribution system operators and technology providers.

Project partners and stakeholders participated in roundtables to identify barriers to smart grid development and identify possible solutions. Local stakeholders had a chance to benefit directly from interregional exchange, while project partners gained a comprehensive overview of the UK energy system and market.

A study visit to the Energy Lab of De Montfort University provided partners with innovative ideas on how to communicate about energy, show results effectively and bring together multidisciplinary research teams. p1150479

Resolvo supported the Lead Partner in the organisation and coordination of all working sessions.
