RESOLVO took part in the first hybrid study visit of the FutureECOS project, held in Niš (Serbia) on 17 September 2025.
Broadcasted from the European House of Niš during #EUmobilityweek, the project’s discovery partner Regional Development Agency South showcased how the city is applying future-proof living concepts.
The programme included inspiring presentations on daily city life, urban planning, and smart solutions, such as:
- free access to public transport,
- the “City&Me” digital app developed by a local start-up,
- innovative approaches to public space development.
An engaging Q&A session with onsite and online participants followed. This offered participants a direct view of the city’s current challenges and the practical ways in which Niš is implementing sustainable solutions for its future and for the wider South Serbia region.
The FutureECOS project brings together 8 partners from Finland, Ireland, Romania, Croatia, Ukraine, and Serbia. Together, they are addressing the challenge of future-proofing living spaces through integrated development strategies, co-created by public and private actors and citizens.
