The experience of Regional Governemtn of Tuscany in the managment of the funds for the period 2013-2020 regarding actions on urban regeneration has been considered one of the best European practice in this field.
Starting from these results the new operation programme for the period 2014-2020 will allocate a substantial amount of resources for urban requalification projects.
As a matter of fact, cities are considered in Tuscany as places in which innovation, creativity and diversity are concentrated and they have to be at the center of a strategy for growth in economic, social and cultural terms while respecting sustainability principles.
