European Symposium on Responsible Digitalisation and AI – CDR EUROPE 5th Partnership Meeting

On April 2, 2025, as part of the CDREUROPE project, Resolvo participated in the European Symposium on Responsible Digitalisation and AI, hosted at the headquarters of the Île-de-France Region in Paris.

The symposium was inaugurated by Valérie Pécresse, President of the Paris Region, and Thierry Boulangé from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT). In their opening remarks, they emphasised the strategic importance of cross-regional cooperation in fostering a digital and AI transformation that is both ethical and sustainable.

Throughout the day, attendees tackled key questions: How can Europe build a fair and inclusive digital future? What role do local governments, SMEs, and public-private partnerships play in this transformation? These themes shaped a rich programme of debate and collaboration.

A synergy was also created between the CDREUROPE and BETTI projects, with Resolvo leading project management in support of the lead partners of both initiatives. This collaborative model aims to streamline efforts toward the adoption of responsible AI and the development of a smarter, regionally tailored policies.

On April 3, the 5th CDR EUROPE Partnership Meeting kicked off with a study visit focused on good practices, held at the Agoronav incubator and Cap Digital. Participants had the chance to discover local success stories in tech incubation, with an insightful presentation by the Scai-Sorbonne AI Center.

Partners engaged in strategic discussions on the current Pilot Action, which provides advisory services to support concrete CDR initiatives in SMEs. The session also included an interactive game to test participants’ knowledge of Interreg Europe and showcase how shared best practices can be translated into real policy improvements.

From forward-thinking AI applications to grassroots engagement, the two-day event fostered meaningful dialogue and strengthened Europe’s commitment to digital responsibility. As always, Resolvo reaffirmed its dedication to driving ethical innovation, both in the projects and its internal practices.
