REEF – Regions putting Energy Efficiency First, is funded by the third Interreg Europe call of the 2021-2027 programming period. The project will run for four years, from 1st May 2025 to 31st July 2029.
REEF brings together 10 partners from 8 countries across Europe (including 2 candidate countries):

Project objective
REEF’s objective is to support public authorities at local and regional level to apply the principle of EE1st across relevant policy areas, thus contributing to achieving climate targets.
Partners use interregional and regional learning to assess barriers to application of the EE1st principle and to consider how these could be addressed. To this end, they share experiences and good practices related to:
- capacity and understanding of EE1st assessment tools
- integration of EE1st into the wider policy context
- incentives, funding and financial support
The final goal is to adapt existing policy instruments to support application of the EE1st principle.
The role of Resolvo
Resolvo supported REEF Lead Partner LEASP in the preparation of the project application and is now supporting them in managing and coordinating the project throughout the 4-year implementation.
