The event was co-hosted by the 2 German partners: Life Science Nord and BioCon Valley.<\/p>\n<p>ELISE\u2019s overall objective is to promote innovation driven regional competitiveness and wellbeing. This INTERREG EUROPE project focuses on LIfe Science Ecosystems and intends to improve 7 ERDF policy instruments.<\/p>\n<p>Partners participated in sessions dedicated to understanding their regional contexts sharing information based on a set of keywords. This approach was used to start identifying strengths and weaknesses of their regional ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>The interregional event included study visits to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tzl.de\/lean-landing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technik Zentrum L\u00fcbeck<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inp-greifswald.de\/web3.nsf\/index?OpenPage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University Medical Center Rostock<\/a> (Institute for Biomedical Engineering) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.uni-rostock.de\/en\/?no_cache=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">INP Greifswald e.V<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Partners from 6 EU member States gathered in Germany for the kick-off meeting of the ELISE project.
