{"id":6451,"date":"2016-06-27T10:13:28","date_gmt":"2016-06-27T08:13:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.resolvo.eu\/en\/interreg-europe-brexit\/"},"modified":"2016-06-27T10:13:28","modified_gmt":"2016-06-27T08:13:28","slug":"interreg-europe-brexit-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.resolvo.eu\/en\/interreg-europe-brexit-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Interreg Europe: statement on Brexit"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Interreg Europe Programme published a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interregeurope.eu\/news-and-events\/news\/57\/statement-on-the-uk-referendum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement on the UK referendum<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To the followers and promoters of interregional cooperation, we are saddened to see that the majority of the UK has voted to leave the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>UK partners are numerous and appreciated in interregional cooperation projects: UK contributed the third highest number of partners in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interreg4c.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">INTERREG IVC<\/a>, and are similarly active in Interreg Europe applications.<\/p>\n<p>The next steps are uncertain until the UK and the EU have negotiated a position which will then be discussed within the Interreg Europe monitoring committee.<\/p>\n<p>This process will take some time and current Interreg Europe project partners from the UK should continue implementing their activities.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Interreg Europe Programme published a statement on the UK referendum: &#8220;To the followers and promoters of interregional cooperation, we are saddened to see that the majority of the UK has voted to leave the European Union.
