The instrument is divided in three phases, with the aim of transforming disruptive ideas into concrete, innovative solutions with a European and global impact.<\/p>\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-body-summary field-type-text-long field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">17 December was the last cut-off date for both phase 1 and 2 in 2014.\u00a0The European Commission has received\u00a0a total of 2,992 new proposals from 35 countries: 2,363 for phase 1 and 629 for phase 2.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>Compared to the previous cut-off date the number of proposals received for phase 1 increased by 17,7% and for phase 2 by 8,4%.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom are leading in terms of number of proposals submitted.<\/p>\n<p>The applicants will be informed of the results of the evaluation in February for phase 1 and April for phase 2.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/easme\/en\/news\/horizon-2020-s-sme-instrument-2992-new-proposals-received-december-2014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Link al sito\u00a0EASME<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SME instrument is part of the Horizon 2020 programme and finances innovative ideas with great market potential.
