The Innovation Week<\/strong> <\/a>– a place for innovators, coders, hackers, makers, futurists, financers, and anyone who has a story to tell about how the future could be<\/em> \u2013 will be held in Rome, from September 28, 2014 to October 5, 2014.<\/p>\n

Experts and leaders in the world of innovation from around the world will meet during the Innovation Week<\/strong>, that will conclude with the second edition of the European Maker Faire<\/strong><\/a>, the largest fair dedicated to digital manufacturing.<\/p>\n

The event will mainly focus on Social Innovation, Maker City, Social Democracy, Sharing Economy Open Data, Impact Bonds and Open Hardware.<\/p>\n

In the same period, September 30, 2014 and October 1, 2014, The fifth annual Summit of the Open Source Hardware Association (OSHWA)<\/strong><\/a> will be held in Rome.<\/p>\n

Bringing the Summit to a larger global audience outside the US is an important opportunity to bring more attention and cooperation to the key topics of open source hardware and open manufacturing.<\/p>\n

Moreover, thanks to the collaboration with Rome\u2019s Innovation Week<\/strong>, the fifth Open Hardware Summit will be an open event with no admittance fee.<\/p>\n
