Resolvo puts Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) at the centre of its corporate. This commitment is evident in its active support for the International CDR Manifesto<\/a>, participation in the European Commission Industry 5.0 Community of Practice, the expansion of its network of CDR practitioners across Europe and various EU-funded projects dedicated to the topic.<\/p>\n

Among these projects COEUS \u2013 Corporate Digital Responsibility Skills in Central European Smart Specialisation<\/a> (Interreg Central Europe) promotes a responsible digital transition across Central Europe by fostering the development and application of CDR skills in both traditional and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).<\/p>\n

Resolvo has been deeply involved in the COEUS project<\/a> from the beginning, supporting proposal preparation, project implementation and providing expertise in CDR.<\/p>\n

Resolvo has also ensured a direct alignment between the project and the International CDR Manifesto.<\/p>\n

How?<\/p>\n

As part of COEUS, partners co-designed and implemented a transnational pilot to test and validate a comprehensive CDR upskilling and reskilling programme for SMEs. A handbook and supporting materials were designed, coordinated by partner University North, as a practical guide for trainers delivering CDR-focused training.<\/p>\n

In order to assess alignment of the COEUS training materials with the principles of the International CDR Manifesto, Dr. Saskia D\u00f6rr, founder of WiseWay, leading expert in CDR and value-driven digital strategies and key partner in the Manifesto, was invited to run a full assessment.<\/p>\n

The first assessment was delivered in March 2025. The results showed a strong alignment (\u224888%) between the COEUS training materials and the Manifesto\u2019s key principles, particularly in digital governance, ethical data management, and sustainability practices. The findings were published in the article \u201c<\/em>Empowering SMEs Through Digital Responsibility \u2013 A Critical Assessment of the COEUS Training Framework in Light of the International CDR Manifesto<\/em><\/a>\u201d<\/em> on the Manifesto\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n

Following Dr. D\u00f6rr\u2019s recommendations, University North revised and improved the handbook, integrating additional elements to strengthen compliance.<\/p>\n

A new assessment, published in October 2025 under the title \u201cEmpowering SMEs Through Digital Responsibility \u2013 Update 2025: Progress and Alignment of the COEUS CDR Handbook with the International CDR Manifesto\u201d<\/em>, confirmed that the updated COEUS handbook now achieves full (\u2248100%) compliance with the principles of the International CDR Manifesto.<\/p>\n

The revised version introduces detailed guidance on responsible automation, transparency, open innovation, reporting integration, and fair distribution of digital economic value. It thus provides SMEs with a complete, actionable framework for embedding CDR across ethical, social, environmental, and participatory dimensions.<\/p>\n
