{"id":15568,"date":"2023-11-21T12:00:24","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T10:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.resolvo.eu\/?p=15568"},"modified":"2023-12-14T17:55:52","modified_gmt":"2023-12-14T15:55:52","slug":"digging-the-effects-of-industrial-transition-in-katowice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.resolvo.eu\/en\/digging-the-effects-of-industrial-transition-in-katowice\/","title":{"rendered":"Digging the effects of industrial transition in Katowice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 21 and 22, Resolvo participated in and moderated the event organised in Katowice, Poland, as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resolvo.eu\/en\/case-studies\/interreg-europe-lotti-project\/\">LOTTI project<\/a> (Interreg Europe).<\/p>\n<p>The project&#8217;s second interregional meeting focused on the sharing of Good Practices by the various project partners, with a special focus on Cantabria&#8217;s experience within the &#8220;Besaya Europa&#8221; initiative promoted by the European Commission among the five programs chosen as pilot projects to test innovative ways of involving citizens in decisions on cohesion policy investments.<\/p>\n<p>Also speaking remotely to explain more about the initiative was Alex Seeman, OECD representative.<\/p>\n<p>Various representatives from different entities in Silesia presented the industrial transition in the region from different perspectives: social, economic, industrial and technological.<\/p>\n<p>The partners shared several moments of group work and workshops to explore practices of citizen participation in the transition to a green and low-carbon economy in territories with a strong industrial characterisation.<\/p>\n<p>Most interesting was the experience of the study visit to the underground water trail of Sztolnia Luiza (a historic coal mine) in the city of Zabrze!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 21 and 22, Resolvo participated in and moderated the event organised in Katowice, Poland, as part of the LOTTI project (Interreg Europe).
