TIPS&Info4BRT \u2013 Traffic light Priority System and Information work-flow for Bus Rapid Transit Corridors<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

TiPS&Info4BRT<\/a> has developed two specific software modules, through the optimisation of algorithms, in order to:
\n\u2013 Obtain an efficient traffic light priority of controlled crosses in different traffic situations and with different bus lines;
\n\u2013 Produce reliable information on the condition of traffic on the road network with particular regard to the management of workflow information related to road works and events on the network.<\/p>\n

These two modules ( the traffic light priority and workflow management information ) have been tested, validated and integrated into a common simulation environment, developed for two models of road network in two European cities: Livorno in Tuscany and Aachen in the region of Nordrhein- Westfalen in Germany.
\nAt the regional level, the project was implemented by a consortium formed by MemEx Srl \u2013 Livorno and Resolvo Srl \u2013 Florence with the Department of Systems and Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, University of Florence as subcontractor, while the European Partnership also provides for the participation of University RWTH Aachen (WINFOR), Momatec Gmbh and Kiwi Consult Gmbh of the city of Aachen, the region of Nordrhein -Westfalen (Germany).<\/p>\n

Resolvo was the partner responsible for the communication and dissemination of results, in particular dealt with the web site, the preparation of advertisements, animation of the territory and the organisation of events.<\/p>\n
