Over 50 participants joined the ELISE final event \u201cInnovation ecosystem \u2013 the key tool for the regional development in the 21st. century\u201d that took place on the 9th<\/sup> of September 2021.<\/p>\n

The final conference addressed the role of the innovation ecosystems in regional development, with a specific focus on Life Sciences as a key sector for innovation within the EU.<\/p>\n

Innovation ecosystems from an EU perspective were presented by Gabriel Rissola (DG Joint Research Centre), while Dr. Astrid Hintze (Helmut Schmidt Universit\u00e4t, Germany) focused on Regional Development as driver of Innovation.<\/p>\n
