Measuring Innovation: Working Seminar held in Brussels

Resolvo participated in the Working Seminar held in Brussels on the 9th of October 2014.

The Working Seminar IN-EUR – measuring INnovation in EURopean Subregions was an opportunity to discuss the question of how to improve innovation policy, thanks to innovative methodologies for measurement and evaluation.

Organised by the Provincial Government of Lucca, with support from Resolvo, the Seminar shares the results of the IN-EUR project, pointing to the future through open discussion among experts on the future of innovation measurement across the EU.

Representatives from DG Research and Innovation, EBN – European Business & Innovation Centre Network, INTERACT contact point expressed their enthusiasm regarding the project and the model, which seems a very useful tool for the Smart Specialisation Strategy as well as for gaining a better understanding of the economic ecosystem and its operation at subregional level.

Also, the importance of spreading ALBI methodology in future capitalisation and benchmarking initiatives was highlighted, representing a starting point for mainstreaming this result in other ETC/Interreg programmes and in order to get continuous feedbacks on how to improve policies at local level.

Do you want to hear more about the project and the ALBI model? Then, do not miss the Final event to be held in Lucca on the 6th of November!
